The Victorian 86 BRZ Club is proud to be affiliated with Motorsport Australia (MA).

As a MA affiliated club, the club and our members get access to a range of benefits including officials training, event planning assistance, representation to government and invitation to some exclusive events.

Affiliation also means that as a financial member of our club, you are able to apply for a "Speed" licence allowing you to participate in club level motorsport events across the country. The club pays an annual fee for this affiliation which is covered by your membership fees.

Joining a car club is the first step toward getting involved in motorsport. Being a member of a Motorsport Australia affiliated car club is great way to meet like minded enthusiasts as well as getting involved in events either as a volunteer or competitor.


What do you get out of being a member?

You must be a member of a Motorsport Australia affiliated club in order to get your Speed Licence (formerly L2S).

You also get access to priority and discounted entry to all our events.

Some other benefits that clubs affiliated with MA include:

Access to MA's Sport and Club Development Officers in each jurisdiction, to service and support of clubs.

Officials' training modules offered to member clubs covering risk management, safety, emergency response and many aspects of event management.

Representation of member clubs to the government in all matters relating to motoring laws, regulations and programs.

Access to MA' National Insurance Coverage (including public liability). All motorsport and some social events will require a MA permit to be issued for this coverage to be in force.

As a registered business and a non-profit organisation, our events have public liability insurance, as well as Motorsport Australia insurance (both included in your membership). This is not to be confused with your personal "car" insurance and coverage.
